This is about a few things. First of all YAY I am finally able to take commissions once again. Please note me for more info.
I can do B&W or color, most traditional mediums. Main exception are oil paints. I don't really work much with oil. But Graphite, charcoal, inks, gouache, acrylic, soft pastel, watercolour, nupastel, prismacolor pencils, chalk, conte crayons, etc.
I specialize in portraits, but can do most anything including but not limited to Manga/Anime, photorealism styled portraits and figures, gestures, colorful surreal, abstract, sketches, still life, landscapes etc. I may be out of practice at landscapes making it take longer lol since it has been awhile. I am still experimenting and learning digital painting and things of that nature, but if you want something I can probably do a discount one in that media.
Basically I will ask for partial payment(50%) upfront after we decide what we are doing. As I progress through the work, I will keep you updated and show you WIPs, this is where we make any changes if we need to. Then upon completion I will collect the rest of the payment. I will accept PayPal and cashiers checks/certified funds.

Ok. Next thing is a little personal information, but is a pretty important detail in my life. I have a severe condition called Fibromyalgia. Not everyone that has it is in severe condition, but mine is pretty much to that point now. I am mostly working on commission work as my main form of income. PLEASE HIRE me !
Basically this FMS has made it impossible for me to work at all anymore at regular jobs. I have had to put my degree on hold as well. Grr. I am half way done and then bam, it happens. What it is in very plain terms is still being studied. They do not know what it is or what causes it yet, but some things that may make it more intense and some things that can be used to treat it. It is different for most everyone and can have many symptoms associated with it, which is part of what makes it so difficult to diagnose in the first place and part of what makes it so hard to treat. I suffer from severe muscle pain and all over tenderness to joints and skin even. It is kind of hard to explain, but basically it feels like little shards of glass flowing through my muscles and blood all the time. My muscles feel like they are being pulled apart strand by strand and there is an all over sensation of heaviness-like cement weights attached to all your limbs. Nausea, chronic fatigue, something called "brain fog", sensitivity to light and sound, hindered ability to move are all symptoms i suffer from. Sometimes impossible to get out of bed. They use "trigger points" as one test to see if FMS may be a possibility in the beginning. This is where they basically apply pressure to specific areas around your body (15-19 spots) and it is pretty unbearable or at least very uncomfortable. Sometimes it hurts to much just to get a hug or shake hands. It is affected by extreme cold or heat. It is not inflamatory condition, though your risk for osteoperoesis or arthritis may increase. Up to 10% of Americans may suffer from FMS. There are many figures on that, but most commonly you will see 5% ish. I am not a total invalid, but most of my life is gone now and I am fighting to get well and gain my autonomy back.
It is hard for other people to understand this, because it is hard for them to connect it in their minds. You look normal and so its not totally obvious in their minds like if you were walking around with crutches or carrying your own head or something. It has only be officially a syndrome since around 1976, but they have found writings about it as far back as 1000s of years ago.
There are a lot of misinformation sources about it out there. So, get it from a reliable source if you are seeking it out. It is expensive to go to specialists and get medications and because I am still young(24) it is pretty impossible for me to get social security or disability benefits of any kind, as discussed with a legal professional. I am the most determined ambitious person normally, and this is all very frustrating when your life is going well and then you have to stop. I was a production manager before... I miss it, but working from home for myself is actually a very good thing for me when all is said and done. I get more done on my own when i can just go for it (that is why I was always promoted in my past positions). I am able to draw still and paint at least so that is all I really ask. I can sit and do those things, so I would love to sit and work on something for you!
Any questions, feel free to send me a note
Thanks for reading. HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!
